Softball has been a huge influence and great part of my life. Wyvonne has been playing since 1992 and heavily involved as a player with many years of experience to the sports. She became a member of the Cayman Softball Association board as Assistant Treasurer in 2019 and currently appointed in February 2022 as Assistant Secretary. Wyvonne having such extensive playing capabilities as a all-rounder player, she have learned and currently learning many qualities along the way such as leadership, time management, caring for her teammates and bonding with them, determination, humbleness, confidence, and more.
Wyvonne absolutely love to bond and become the best of friends with her teammates by spending time with them over the season between February to July each given year. As a result of Wyvonne playing experiences and contribution to the softball community, she was invited to many national trainings for participating in the NIST Tournaments and other tournaments in Americas. Playing softball, allow me grow so much, not only as a player, but as a person as well.
Wyvonne also played Cricket and was the Captain to led the Cayman National Cricket Team in August 2017 and awarded Woman of the match in the game against the Atlantis Women Cricket Team. Softball was where she found her true niche, earning a spot as always on the Wildcats (Captain) and on the Women National team for many years. “As a sophomore, Wyvonne was awarded for the best Sportsmanship in 2021.
