During the 1980’s Carneth’s passion for the game of softball never ceased to this day. Everything where softball was concerned, happened at the George Hicks field. As time progress and the country developed, the league moved its location to the field of dreams facilities. As a young mother in the 1990’s her time was donated by being a coach for the team that her child was a player. She mentored many young adults during this time and was very supportive of the kids. When the opportunity arose to represent the Cayman Islands in the Olympic qualifiers hosted in Puerto Rico, she was chosen to be the main pitcher. To add to the list of tournaments, Cayman hosted one in 2009 at Field of Dreams where they were participants from numerous islands. Recently she has had the opportunity to partake in the NIST Tournament 2022 in Florida, where the women’s team won the championship. She was appointed assistant treasurer in 2017 where she later got reelected in the same position in 2022.
